The Farm

“Recycling & sustainability as basic essentials”

The newly renovated farmhouse is situated amidst more than 250 000 year old fynbos biosphere, being one of the most diverse floras in the world.
With 375 newly planted olive trees, 175 peach trees & 100 lemon trees, 10 000m2 of herbs & a veggie garden to create a self sustainable working lifestyle farm, with own water supply & solar power.

We aim to live in total harmony with nature, we want to wake up with the sounds of the birds, we want to breathe fresh air, we want to enjoy uninterrupted views, we want to be close to the ocean and we want to enjoy the wines from our surrounding award winning wine estates.

We love art, books & music, all of which we want to share & enjoy with our guests that understands the importance of leaving a minimal ecological footprint. We assure you that our products, food & drinks are locally sourced & produced, within a radius of 10km, such as bread, milk, eggs, cheese, fish, meats, veggies, fruit, wine & beers.
So: Minimum packaging, minimum waste, minimum transport & recycling. Back to nature, in a rural setting but up to urban standards & qualities.
